Why does my skin tone change when i get a photo took of me with a digital camera?
Im usually fair and slightly tanned but seem to be more of a caramel brown colour when i have a photo took of me with a standard every day flash digital camera. why is this?
Shooting outdoors using flash fill can cause some changes in apparent skin tone depending upon the skill of the photographer. What may be happening is that the image is being slightly underexposed or the white balance is not set properly
Have a friend that uses a 35mm SLR or DSLR shoot you in open shade (no flash) with the white balance corrected of shade or indoors using studio style lighting and then see how your skin looks.
