What is the safest way to bury doorbell wires?
There are 2 other switches on the circuit, and it is very difficult to retrieve the wire back to the circuit. I have decided to simply cap them and push them into the wall. How should I cap them?
I would cut each wire so there are no copper sticking out of the insulation and then cut one wire shorter then the other and then tape or heat shrink the ends. That way they can not touch each other and cause a short. You can also remove this wire from the transformer for added protection.
